Han Ga-in Reveals Cause of 5-Year Mystery Illness After Hospitalization

Actress Han Ga-in has finally uncovered the reason behind her five-year struggle with unexplained dizziness, sharing her recovery journey. On December 5, a video titled 'Han Ga-in's Final Encounter with Doppelgänger Kim Dong-jun (Hospital Vlog)' was released on the Free Woman channel.

During the video, the production team visited Han Ga-in at a hospital in Seoul. When asked about her hospitalization, she humorously remarked, "I recently met Kim Dong-jun, and you know what happens when you meet your doppelgänger, right?" She added, "I think our different genders made it end with just pain."

Recently, Han Ga-in acknowledged her resemblance to Kim Dong-jun during a meeting that took place on her YouTube channel. She explained, "That day, after meeting Dong-jun, I started feeling really unwell that evening. My condition worsened to the point where I couldn't even stand or eat, and I didn't have a specific diagnosis." She even mentioned arriving in a wheelchair.

Han Ga-in expressed relief at finally identifying the cause of her symptoms, stating, "I had been suffering from unexplained dizziness, which I thought was a side effect of my previous inner ear issues after giving birth to my second child. However, I learned that I had orthostatic hypotension, which meant that when I stood up, blood wouldn't flow to my head, causing the dizziness. But after taking medication, my symptoms improved significantly, and I no longer experience heart palpitations at night."

She revealed that she had never shown any signs of her condition while filming. "I met with the doctor I posted about on YouTube, and now I'm feeling great," she said. "The dizziness I experienced for five years was unnecessary, and I even avoided alcohol due to my inner ear issues, but now I think I can drink again."

Han Ga-in's mother also expressed relief that they finally found the cause, and she confidently stated, "Now I can fly around freely!" as she shared her recovery from orthostatic hypotension.
