Han Ga-in Opens Up About Her Miscarriages on 'You Quiz on the Block'
On the February 26 episode of 'You Quiz on the Block' (유 퀴즈 온 더 블럭), actress Han Ga-in candidly discussed the emotional pain of experiencing three miscarriages. The episode featured South Korean short track national team members Park Ji-won, Kim Gi-ri, and Jang Seong-woo, along with student Yoon Joo-eun, who is known for her legendary quotes from six years ago.
Han Ga-in humorously introduced herself as a 'professional YouTuber' and praised Yoo Jae-suk, whom she hadn't seen in 20 years, for not changing at all since their days working together on comedy shows.
Reflecting on her early marriage at the age of 24, Han shared that she met her husband while filming their first drama. She found it difficult to date outside, so she often visited his family home, where she was struck by the warm family atmosphere, leading her to think, 'If this is the kind of family environment, I could be happy here.'
She also revealed that the sudden surge in her popularity made her feel like running away at times, wondering if she would ever find a stable support system.
Han Ga-in recounted the heart-wrenching experience of her miscarriages, stating, 'I felt devastated. It was really tough for my husband and me. We thought it might not happen for us. We concluded that we could be happy together without children.' Fortunately, after undergoing IVF, she was relieved to welcome her first child successfully.
