Han Ga-in Hospitalized After Five Years of Unexplained Dizziness

Actress Han Ga-in has finally identified the cause of her dizziness that has plagued her for the past five years. On December 5, a video titled 'Han Ga-in's Final Encounter with Doppelganger Kim Dong-jun (Hospital Vlog)' was released on the Free Woman channel.

During the video, the production team visited Han Ga-in at a hospital in Seoul. Upon seeing the cameras, she humorously remarked, "This is really crazy..." When asked about her hospitalization, she joked, "I recently met Kim Dong-jun, and you know what happens when you meet your doppelganger, right?" She added, "I think it ended up being an illness because we have different genders," which elicited laughter.

Han Ga-in explained that after meeting Dong-jun, she felt unwell that evening, stating, "My condition kept deteriorating to the point where I couldn't even stand or eat. I didn't even have a diagnosis at that time." She revealed that she had to be wheeled into the hospital.

She shared that she was finally able to find the cause of her symptoms, saying, "I had unexplained dizziness, and I thought it was a complication from BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo) that worsened after giving birth to my second child." Han Ga-in mentioned that while she is still not fully recovered, a doctor discovered her condition, which turned out to be orthostatic hypotension.

"When I stand up, blood doesn't flow to my head, which is why I felt dizzy all the time," she explained. However, after starting medication, she noticed improvements, saying, "My eyes have opened up, and the palpitations I felt at night have disappeared."

The production team humorously noted her ongoing struggles, asking if she wanted to film for YouTube despite her condition. Han Ga-in reassured everyone, saying, "The doctor I found through YouTube has helped me a lot, and I'm feeling much better now."
