Han Ga-in Donates to Wildfire Relief Efforts in Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam

On March 27, Han Ga-in announced through her YouTube channel, 자유부인 한가인 (Free-spirited Han Ga-in), that she is extending her heartfelt condolences and support to those affected by the recent wildfires in Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam. The channel has decided to cancel this week's video uploads in light of the tragedy.

In her message, Han Ga-in expressed her hope that the donation would assist those impacted by the fires. She confirmed that the revenue generated from views since the channel's inception has been donated under her name and that of her fans, known as 날라리 (Nallari). The donation, amounting to 50 million KRW, was made to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association.

The channel further conveyed their sorrow over the ongoing wildfires, which have been difficult to control due to dry weather and strong winds. They expressed gratitude to the individuals working tirelessly to contain the fires and prevent further damage.

According to the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasure Headquarters, the simultaneous wildfires that broke out in the Gyeongsang region on March 21 have resulted in the tragic loss of 26 lives and forced nearly 29,911 residents to evacuate from the most affected areas, including Uiseong and Andong. As of 5 AM on the same day, the total area of forest affected was reported to be 36,009 hectares, surpassing the damage caused by the worst wildfire in 2000, which affected 23,794 hectares.
