Ha Jung-woo Showcases Versatility in Marie Claire's February Issue Ahead of 'Broken' Release

The highly anticipated crime thriller 'Broken' has unveiled a stunning photoshoot featuring Ha Jung-woo in the February issue of Marie Claire. Known for his raw and intense portrayal in the film, Ha Jung-woo captivates audiences with a completely different vibe in this spread. In 'Broken', he plays Min-tae, a man on a relentless quest to uncover the truth behind his brother's death, showcasing a wide range of emotions from deep sorrow to icy rage. The photoshoot highlights his ability to transform, as he presents a playful demeanor with witty expressions and photogenic poses, exuding quiet charisma.

In an accompanying interview, Ha Jung-woo expressed his heartfelt dedication to 'Broken', stating, "I aimed to act without embellishment. Instead of focusing on creating a specific appearance or manner of speaking for Min-tae, I wanted to express him in the most natural way possible. Throughout the story, Min-tae encounters various characters while seeking revenge, and I concentrated on instinctively manifesting those emotions."

He also praised director Kim Jin-hwang, noting, "I found him to be a very strong individual. Even while directing his first commercial feature film, he confidently asserted his ideas in front of a large crew and experienced actors. I was impressed by his willingness to accept and adapt different opinions as the script evolved on set. It takes a lot of courage to handle such situations effectively."
