Gowoori Expresses Frustration Over 'No Pregnancy' Clause in Contract

Gowoori, a former member of the girl group Rainbow, recently shared her feelings of disappointment towards her husband during an episode of the YouTube channel 'No Back Talk with Tak Jae-hoon' (노빠꾸탁재훈). In the video titled 'Gowoori, the Idol Prohibited from Giving Birth,' she expressed her frustration about the lack of progress on a promised album, stating, "They said they would release an album, but there’s still no sign of it. They keep giving me strange tasks instead." Tak Jae-hoon responded, suggesting that she should have picked up on the hints, while Shin Gyu-jin playfully remarked that perhaps neither of them was aware of the situation.

Gowoori further revealed her discontent, saying, "Honestly, the contact I received three days ago was just a last-minute fix, right?" Tak Jae-hoon countered, saying, "If you had any awareness, you would believe that an album would be released continuously." In response, Gowoori pleaded, "Oppa, please help me. This situation has escalated because of you. You’ve been too good to me."

In a surprising twist, Gowoori shared a handwritten contract that included bizarre clauses such as 'absolute obedience' and 'no childbirth,' which caught everyone’s attention. Tak Jae-hoon was taken aback, asking, "No childbirth? You signed a contract that prohibits pregnancy?" Gowoori explained, "We wrote this because neither of us (referring to fellow member Jo Hyun-young) should get pregnant while we are active."

When asked if she was preparing for pregnancy, Gowoori admitted, "I was planning to get pregnant. So right now, I’m in a stop state. My husband has really put a stop to it. He’s diligently following this clause. I just want to know why he can’t even do that much. It’s infuriating. I don’t need any support!" This humorous outburst elicited laughter from the group.

When questioned if she had any different feelings about the situation, she firmly stated, "I didn’t. I’m in my prime right now, and I know it would be a big deal if I broke that clause!" She also humorously commented on Jo Hyun-young, saying, "I wonder if she can keep it? She’s the problem. There’s no order to it!"

Gowoori, who married a businessman five years her senior on October 5 of last year, is the second member of Rainbow to tie the knot, following Jisook.
