GOT7's BamBam Expresses Desire for Marriage on 'Do You Know Home Cooking'
In the premiere episode of MBN and MBC Every1's new variety show 'Do You Know Home Cooking' on July 9, GOT7's BamBam opened up about his thoughts on marriage. During a visit to the home of a Thai mackerel master, BamBam and Lee Jang-woo shared a meal with the host's family and engaged in a candid late-night conversation.
Lee Jang-woo remarked, "You're turning 28 now," to which BamBam responded, "I have two years left until I hit 30. But I don't understand why I'm feeling this strong desire to get married. I'm seriously considering, 'Should I try marriage?' If I meet someone next, I might think of them as a potential spouse rather than just a dating partner. Is 28 too early for that?"
Lee Jang-woo, who recently announced his engagement to Jo Hye-won, shared his own views on marriage, stating, "You need to have guts to get married. Meeting someone who shares my values makes me feel like I could live with nothing. I've been dating my girlfriend for eight years, and it feels like we're already married. I think marriage would be wonderful. We've never fought in those eight years, and since deciding to marry, my life has changed a lot for the better."
BamBam then asked, "Have you set a wedding date? Just tell me the season," to which Lee Jang-woo replied, "I'm planning for fall, probably in November, so make sure to come. If you don't, I'll come find you in Thailand!"
BamBam joked about the difficulty of choosing a wedding gift, while Lee Jang-woo humorously mentioned that he still hasn't worn the designer underwear BamBam gifted him for his birthday, saying, "A young idol brother gave me underwear as a birthday gift, something I've never bought for myself."
BamBam teased, "Did I give you leopard print? That's sexy!" Lee Jang-woo shared that wearing it made him feel like an idol, saying, "The moment I put it on, I felt like an idol. I’ll save it for special occasions." BamBam added with a laugh, "I’ll check if you wore it at your wedding. Next time, I’ll get you zebra print!"
