Goo Seung-hwan Celebrates Healthy Eating After Check-Up on 'I Live Alone'

On the February 21 episode of MBC's I Live Alone (나 혼자 산다), Goo Seung-hwan expressed his joy over delicious food following a health check-up. Visiting the hospital for his examination, he was relieved to find that his stomach was in good condition, although the doctor advised him to reduce his weight. After leaving the hospital, Goo Seung-hwan, feeling refreshed yet hungry from fasting for an extended period, headed straight home. He lay on the floor, complaining of hunger, before finally getting up to drink some water.
To satisfy his empty stomach, he prepared a stone pot cheese bibimbap topped with nurungji (crispy rice). His plan was to enjoy a meal that wouldn’t feel too heavy after his health check. He carefully layered rice, vegetables, and octopus sauce in the pot, but his friend Jeon Hyun-moo expressed concern, reminding him that the nurse had advised against spicy foods. Giann 84 chimed in, saying such comments made Goo Seung-hwan appear unhealthy.
As Goo Seung-hwan finished his bibimbap with a sprinkle of seaweed, a pizza he had ordered earlier arrived. Realizing he almost forgot the protein, he pulled out some pork belly. Proudly presenting his meal, he declared, "I protect my health with my diet." While grilling the meat, he wore a happy smile, prompting Jeon Hyun-moo to marvel at the restaurant-quality meal and Giann 84 to express envy at how well Goo Seung-hwan was eating.
After fasting for 26 hours, Goo Seung-hwan savored his first meal, expressing gratitude for the flavors. Code Kunst also noted his envy, stating he usually doesn’t feel hungry while watching food videos.
