Gong Yoo Surprises Yoo In-na with a Bold Question on 'Yoo In-Radio'

On November 28, 2024, actress Yoo In-na reunited with actor Gong Yoo on her YouTube channel, 'Yoo In-Radio'. The episode, titled '[Meeting Someone In-na] Reunited Goblin Siblings | Gong Yoo EP. 2-1', featured a playful adaptation of a scene from their popular 2017 tvN drama, 'Goblin'.

Gong Yoo expressed his excitement about the appearance, stating, "I came because In-na asked me, and the timing coincided perfectly with my promotional activities. I haven't seen In-na in a long time, so I thought it would be a good opportunity to visit."

Yoo In-na, overwhelmed with joy, remarked, "When I heard that Gong Yoo oppa would join, I couldn't believe it. I thought, 'Will he really come?' But he actually did!" Gong Yoo humorously added, "If In-na invited me, I would have come regardless of the promotion."

Gong Yoo reminisced about Yoo In-na's engaging personality, saying, "I remember In-na as someone who is great at conversation. The radio concept suits her well, and I thought it would be fun to join in. However, I was surprised at how modest the studio looked compared to the videos I’ve seen."

Yoo In-na also shared her enthusiasm, saying, "I know there are many fans of Gong Yoo, but I think no one has thought about him as much as I have in the last 48 hours. I want to make today enjoyable for him." In response, Gong Yoo jokingly asked, "Wow, you don’t like me, do you?" to which Yoo In-na replied with a laugh, "I fell in love in the last 48 hours."

The two actors reflected on their first meeting, with Yoo In-na recalling, "Many people are curious about our first encounter. It was during the script reading for 'Goblin'. When Gong Yoo walked in, I thought, 'Wow, Gong Yoo really came.'"

Yoo In-na continued, "Many fans wonder if we kept in touch. Looking at our messages, we only checked in with each other about once every two years." Gong Yoo shared a nostalgic moment, saying, "I was in a car with my brother while fishing in Jeju Island when I heard a voice on the navigation system that sounded so familiar. No matter how I listened, it was definitely Yoo In-na's voice. Suddenly, I missed her and thought I should reach out."
