Gong Yoo Expresses Excitement for Reunion with Seo Hyun-jin in 'Trunk'

Actor Gong Yoo shared his enthusiasm for working alongside Seo Hyun-jin during the press conference for the Netflix original series 'Trunk' (트렁크) held on November 26 at the Raum Art Center in Gangnam, Seoul. The event was attended by Seo Hyun-jin, Gong Yoo, Jung Yoon-ha, Jo Yi-gun, Kim Dong-won, and director Kim Kyu-tae.

Gong Yoo remarked, "I was drawn to the original concept and its intention. I believe this work will present a unique narrative about love and relationships. The potential for various interpretations based on individual perspectives adds to its appeal, which is why I decided to take part. Most importantly, it felt like a great opportunity to meet Seo Hyun-jin, whom I have admired since 'Another Miss Oh.'"

'Trunk' is a mystery romance that unfolds around a trunk that appears by a lakeside, revealing a secret marriage service and the unusual love story of two individuals involved. Directed by Kim Kyu-tae, known for his work on 'Our Blues' and 'It's Okay, That's Love,' and written by Park Eun-young, who penned 'Hwarang,' the series promises to deliver a bold and stylish mystery romance. The performances of Seo Hyun-jin, Gong Yoo, Jung Yoon-ha, Jo Yi-gun, and Kim Dong-won, as they explore the complex relationships and emotions tied to 'temporary marriages,' are highly anticipated.

'Trunk' is set to premiere on Netflix on November 29.
