Gong Myung Holds Successful First Solo Fan Meeting in Korea

Actor Gong Myung successfully held his first solo fan meeting in Korea on May 24 at the YeRimDang Art Hall in Seoul, titled 'May I GONGMYOUNG?'. He made a grand entrance singing John Park's '이게 아닌데' and reminisced with fans about his filmography, including notable works like 'Extreme Job' and his recent projects 'I Have Seven Days to Live' and 'Please Drink Responsibly'. The atmosphere was lively as he showcased dance performances to NCT U's 'Make A Wish (Birthday Song)', NCT 127's '삐그덕 (Walk)', and NCT DoJaeJung's 'Perfume'.

A special birthday celebration took place during the event when Gong Myung's younger brother, NCT's Doyoung, made a surprise appearance. Despite his busy schedule preparing for a comeback and concert, Doyoung expressed his support for his brother's first solo fan meeting, which delighted Gong Myung and warmed the hearts of the audience.

The event also featured interactive segments where Gong Myung engaged with fans, allowing them to vote on a fan nickname and share their questions and requests. He responded with candid and cheerful answers, further strengthening the bond with his supporters.

Gong Myung's affection for his fans was evident in the thoughtful merchandise he prepared, including tumblers, handkerchiefs, and postcards, which he designed and packaged himself for this special occasion.

Throughout the 210-minute event, Gong Myung poured his heart into every aspect, from the fan meeting title to the merchandise and guest invitations. He expressed his gratitude, saying, "I hope my presence brings you energy, just as your love gives me strength. I hope you remember the time we spent together and the moments to come. Thank you for being here and for sharing all of me with you." He concluded the event with a high-five session, bidding farewell to his fans.

Gong Myung has been actively engaging with audiences in 2025, recently portraying the grim reaper Kim Ram-woo in the Tving series 'I Have Seven Days to Live', showcasing a poignant first love story. He is also gaining attention for his role as Seo Ui-jun, the head of the Bocheon Health Center, in the tvN drama 'Please Drink Responsibly'. Additionally, he is set to appear in the upcoming Netflix series 'Gwangjang' as Gu Jun-mo, a character that promises to reveal a new side of him.
