Gomin Si and Lee Jong Won to Host the Inaugural D Awards

Actors Gomin Si (고민시) and Lee Jong Won (이종원) are set to take on the role of main hosts for the first-ever D Awards (디 어워즈). According to the organizing committee on January 20, Gomin Si has been named the 'D Awards Muse' while Lee Jong Won will be referred to as the 'D Awards Maestro.' Gomin Si has established herself as a leading actress in K-storytelling, showcasing her talents across dramas, films, and variety shows. She played a signature role in the Netflix original series Sweet Home (스위트홈), contributing to its successful conclusion, and garnered attention for her outstanding performance in the drama No One in the Woods (아무도 없는 숲속에서). Additionally, her charm as a 'natural person' was highlighted in tvN's Seo Jin's (서진이네2). Meanwhile, Lee Jong Won has solidified his status as a 'hot icon' in the home theater, starring in two hit dramas last year. He demonstrated his versatile acting range in the historical drama Night Blooms (밤에 피는 꽃) and has become a 'new heartthrob' with the success of series like Romantic Drunk (취하는 로맨스). As the faces of the D Awards, Gomin Si and Lee Jong Won represent the current and future of K-storytelling, standing at the forefront of the MZ generation of actors. The D Awards, hosted by Sports Dong-A and co-organized by Upick and WSM, will take place on February 22 at 6 PM at Korea University's Hwajeong Gymnasium in Anam-dong, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul. The first lineup of performers was announced on January 6, featuring ENHYPEN (엔하이픈), FIFTYFIFTY (피프티피프티), QWER (큐더블유이알), TWS (투어스), and UNIS (유니스), followed by a second lineup on January 13, which includes N.Flying (엔플라잉), P1Harmony (피원하모니), tripleS (트리플에스), ZEROBASEONE (제로베이스원), and 82MAJOR (82메이저).
