Go Woorim Makes His Variety Show Debut on Radio Star After Military Service

Go Woorim of the crossover group Forestella made his first appearance on a variety show, 'Radio Star' (라디오스타), following his military discharge. Known for his unique 'unicorn voice' and captivating charm that even won over figure skating queen Kim Yuna, he is set to mesmerize viewers.
The episode airing today (June 18) on MBC features a special segment titled 'Mr. Voice,' with guests including Kim Tae-kyun, Cheon Rok-dam, Lee Dae-hyung, and Go Woorim.
Since winning 'Phantom Singer 2,' Go Woorim has garnered immense love from fans both domestically and internationally as a member of Forestella. After marrying Kim Yuna and completing his military service, he expressed his desire to showcase his entertainment skills on 'Radio Star' as he embarks on new activities.
He proudly stated, "I can reach the lowest bass notes among bass singers," leaving the MCs in awe. He also entertained the audience with impressions, including that of actor Han Suk-kyu, which drew further admiration from MC Kim Gura.
Go Woorim shared that he recently toured five cities in the U.S., revealing that videos of international fans reacting to his performances have gone viral. He humorously recounted how fans compared his solo performance of 'Arabian Nights' to a Disney villain, earning him the nickname.
He also opened up about his relationship with Kim Yuna, sharing that they dated secretly for four years after meeting at 24. He revealed that it was Kim Yuna who first reached out to him and shared the story behind his two proposals. Notably, during his military service, Kim Yuna encouraged him to go through with it, which he found incredibly supportive.
Go Woorim recounted a memorable visit from Kim Yuna during his service, where her name on the visitor list caused quite a stir among his fellow soldiers. He concluded with a romantic story about their honeymoon in Paris, showcasing their affectionate life as newlyweds.
