Actress Go Min-si has categorically denied allegations of school violence. On May 26, her agency, Mystic Story, released a statement addressing claims made anonymously on various online communities. They asserted that these allegations are completely false and baseless.
The agency expressed deep concern and regret over the malicious posts that have tarnished the actress's reputation. They have appointed legal representation and are currently reviewing options for both civil and criminal legal action.
Furthermore, they urged the public to refrain from spreading unverified rumors, emphasizing that such speculation can cause significant harm not only to the actress but also to her family.
On the same day, a post titled 'Victims of Actor Go OO's School Violence' appeared on an online community, where the authors claimed to be former classmates of Go OO from middle school. They alleged that Go OO engaged in bullying, extortion, and verbal abuse towards multiple peers during their school years. The victims accused her of mocking and threatening students with disabilities, as well as enlisting local bullies and outside groups to carry out acts of violence. They described a pattern of stealing belongings and money from classmates, boasting about these actions, and exhibiting severe ethical deficiencies.
Additionally, the victims claimed that Go OO's behavior in middle school was problematic, asserting that she used her connections with delinquent older brothers to exert violence and severely assault classmates she disliked. They recounted instances of horrific violence, including beatings that left bruises. They also reported ongoing verbal abuse towards students with disabilities and bullying of taller classmates, creating a climate of fear within the school through frequent threats and insults.
