Go Hyun-jung and Yoon Sang-hyun Set to Create New Idol Legend in 'Namib'

Actors Go Hyun-jung (고현정) and Yoon Sang-hyun (윤상현) are poised to unveil a new chapter in the idol industry with the upcoming Genie TV original drama 'Namib' (나미브), premiering on December 23. The series follows the journey of former star producer Kang Soo-hyun (고현정) and a released trainee, Yoo Jin-woo (려운), as they collaborate to achieve their individual dreams.

Kang Soo-hyun, once a renowned talent scout and producer, faces a dramatic downfall after being unexpectedly fired from Pandora Entertainment, the agency she co-founded with her husband, music producer Shim Jun-seok (윤상현). This sudden change not only impacts her career but also her family's stability, prompting her to seek redemption by discovering new talent.

In her quest, Kang Soo-hyun encounters Yoo Jin-woo, a trainee who has been let go from Pandora. Recognizing his potential, she embarks on a mission to transform him into a star. Shim Jun-seok joins the project, and together, they showcase exceptional teamwork, providing comprehensive support in singing, dancing, and stage presence to help Yoo Jin-woo win an audition program.
