Global Success Awaits 'The Reader's Perspective' as It Secures Pre-Sales in 113 Countries

This summer, the film 'The Reader's Perspective' (전지적 독자 시점) is making waves in theaters, having achieved pre-sales in 113 countries worldwide, signaling a promising global box office performance. Based on a web novel that ran for over a decade, the story unfolds on the day the novel concludes, transforming its fictional world into reality. The sole reader, Kim Dokja (김독자), teams up with the protagonist Yoo Joonghyuk (유중혁) and others to survive in a post-apocalyptic setting, creating a unique blend of fantasy and action. With its innovative world-building, fresh concepts, and exhilarating action sequences, 'The Reader's Perspective' has already garnered significant attention. The film is set to premiere in various regions, starting with Taiwan on July 23, followed by Indonesia on July 30, and Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, and New Zealand on July 31. It will also be released in the United States, Canada, and Vietnam on August 1, with Cambodia on August 5 and the Philippines on August 6. Notably, the film is also making its way to Germany and Austria, where Korean films rarely hit theaters, showcasing its competitive edge. With its impressive pre-sales achievement, 'The Reader's Perspective' is poised to make a strong impact in the global market, hitting theaters nationwide on July 23.
