(G)I-DLE's Minnie Makes a Splash with Solo Debut Album 'HER'

Minnie, a member of the girl group (여자)아이들, has embarked on her solo career with the release of her first mini-album, 'HER', on January 21. During a live broadcast on the day of her comeback, she expressed her excitement about finally sharing the songs she had been preparing for a long time, thanking her fans for their patience.
The album 'HER' quickly climbed to the top of the charts, debuting at number one on both the daily and weekly digital bestseller lists on China's QQ Music. It also secured the third spot on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart and fifth on the European iTunes Album Chart, showcasing its global appeal. The title track, also named 'HER', reached number one on QQ Music's K-Pop music video chart and number two on the overall music video chart, drawing significant attention.
Minnie began her promotional activities on January 23 with a performance on Mnet's 'M Countdown', followed by appearances on KBS2's 'Music Bank', MBC's 'Show! Music Core', and SBS's 'Inkigayo', where she showcased her captivating stage presence. Her performances featured bold elements such as wearing an eye mask, the signature '11:25' choreography, and a variety of concept stages that captivated audiences.
In addition to her music performances, Minnie engaged with fans through various events, including a pop-up store titled 'HERS' where she hosted a docent event, as well as a fan invitation listening party and mini fan meetings during music broadcasts.
Minnie also made appearances on KBS2's 'The Seasons - Lee Young-ji's Rainbow', and web entertainment shows like 'Senior Hyo-yeon Who Treats You Well', 'Jim Jong-kook', and 'Donghae Water and Baekdu Eun-hyeok', successfully wrapping up her first week of activities.
The title track 'HER' offers a glimpse into Minnie's honest inner self, reflecting her various images as an artist and how the public perceives her. The song features a minimal bass riff paired with a funky top line, showcasing Minnie's songwriting talent.
