(G)I-DLE's Jeon So-yeon Celebrates Becoming a 'Gum Tycoon'

On December 18, Jeon So-yeon of the girl group (여자)아이들 took to her personal social media account to share her excitement about becoming a 'gum tycoon.' She posted several photos showcasing a special gift she received—a giant box of bubble gum, humorously dubbed 'Wow So-yeon,' which was nearly as big as she is. In her post, she expressed her joy, stating, 'I feel like a gum tycoon.'

Previously, during a web entertainment show, Jeon So-yeon discussed her earnings from royalties. When asked by Lee Young-ji about her monthly income, she explained, 'If you take the annual statistics and divide it by the months, during peak times, I can earn up to 1 billion won in a month, but during low periods, it can drop to just 100,000 won.'

Recently, Jeon So-yeon renewed her contract with CUBE Entertainment. The agency announced that after in-depth discussions with all members of (여자)아이들, they successfully re-signed So-yeon, who had already completed her previous contract, along with Miyeon, Minnie, Yuqi, and Shuhua, who still had time left on their contracts.
