GFRIEND's Yuju Diagnosed with Vocal Cord Inflammation Ahead of 10th Anniversary Concert

Yuju, a member of the girl group GFRIEND, has been diagnosed with vocal cord inflammation just before their 10th anniversary concert. On January 16, Source Music announced through their official channels that Yuju had been recovering from the flu but felt discomfort in her throat, prompting a visit to the hospital where she received the diagnosis. Medical professionals have advised her to refrain from singing and using her voice for the time being.
As a result, Yuju will participate minimally in the upcoming concert titled 'GFRIEND 10th Anniversary: Season of Memories,' scheduled to take place from January 17 to 19 at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul. She will only engage in limited singing and speaking during the event.
GFRIEND's management stated that they will monitor Yuju's recovery and make decisions regarding her participation in future schedules based on her health. They also expressed gratitude for the fans' understanding and emphasized that the health of their artists is their top priority.
On January 13, GFRIEND celebrated their 10th anniversary by releasing a full album titled 'Season of Memories.'
