The divorce between singer-songwriters Eun Jong (은종) and Yoon Ddan Ddan (윤딴딴) has escalated into a public dispute. Eun Jong has accused her husband of infidelity and domestic violence, while Yoon Ddan Ddan has acknowledged these claims but countered that he has been mentally and financially exhausted.

On June 14, Yoon Ddan Ddan expressed his deep apologies to fans and those around him on his Instagram, stating, "I am truly sorry to those who have been disappointed in me due to this incident."

He admitted to the existence of domestic violence, saying, "When disagreements arose, our arguments often escalated, leading to verbal and physical abuse from my wife. This led to a significant loss of self-esteem and mental exhaustion, which ultimately resulted in me communicating with someone else. I sincerely apologize to my wife for the pain my actions have caused."

Yoon Ddan Ddan further revealed, "I no longer felt capable of maintaining our marriage. I ended up giving away all my cash, half of my music rights, my car, and custody of our dog after agreeing to her demands for divorce. Recently, she has requested an additional 20 million KRW, but I am unable to provide any more funds, which makes me feel sorry."

He concluded by promising to avoid repeating the same mistakes in the future, saying, "I vow to become a better person. I apologize once again to those who have supported me and found comfort in my music. If even one person continues to support me, I will do my best to move forward in life."

Earlier, on June 12, Eun Jong announced on her Instagram that she had won a lawsuit against her husband's alleged mistress after a year-long dispute and is currently recovering from the mental and physical trauma she has endured.

She shared, "There were instances during our relationship where emotional conflicts escalated to physical harm. Despite recognizing these issues, we chose to trust each other and marry. However, the problems persisted. The unresolved infidelity and subsequent emotional conflicts have made it impossible to restore our relationship."

Eun Jong confirmed that she is currently in the process of negotiating a divorce with her husband, expressing her hope that this record will not lead to further conflict or pain and that the intent behind it remains intact.

Eun Jong debuted in 2014 with the OST "You Are My Love (유 아 마이 러브)" for tvN's "My Name is Kim Sam-soon (막돼먹은 영애씨 시즌13)". The show opened with tracks from his first solo album, 'Jack In The Box,' including 'What if…,' 'Pandora’s Box,' 'Arson,' 'STOP,' and 'MORE,' eliciting enthusiastic cheers from fans. J-Hope remarked, "It’s drizzling a bit, but I think it will make the concert even more fun. You won’t be able to tell if it’s sweat or rain with how much we’ll enjoy ourselves!"

He also performed songs from his special album 'HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1' and his first mixtape 'Hope World,' weaving a musical narrative throughout the performance. Additionally, he premiered his third solo single, 'Killin' It Girl,' released earlier that day, describing it as a straightforward track showcasing his sexy side. On June 13, during an episode of KBS2TV's Ganeun Jeong Oneun Jeong Lee Min-jung, actor Kim Jung-hyun opened up about his feelings regarding the gaslighting controversy he faced in the past. 

In the episode, Kim Jung-hyun and fellow actor Kim Jae-won participated in a local rice planting activity, where they moved seedlings to a rice transplanter and began their work. Kim Jung-hyun showcased his skills, impressing the locals with his adeptness. 

One resident expressed admiration, stating, "I’ve watched all of Jung-hyun's dramas. I enjoyed 'Mr. Queen' and 'Crash Landing on You' as well." The resident also shared their fondness for Kim Jae-won’s work in 'The Tale of Nokdu.' 

As they took the transplanter out to the field, Kim Jung-hyun confidently declared, "We can do this," despite the challenging narrow structure of the rice paddy. He skillfully operated the transplanter, surprising everyone, although he accidentally forgot to place the marker, leading Kim Jae-won to step in as a human marker to assist with planting. 

Meanwhile, Lee Min-jung, Boom, and Ahn Jae-hyun were busy helping with weed removal in the village, with residents praising Lee Min-jung for her quick learning. She humorously remarked, "Maybe I should move here." 

At one point, a villager requested help with chopping wood, prompting Boom and Ahn Jae-hyun to lend a hand, with Boom humorously embracing the rugged task. 

Later in the episode, Kim Jung-hyun had a conversation with surprise guest Shin Dong-yup, where he referred to his next project as his life’s work. He expressed gratitude for having received love for his past works, stating, "It’s a blessing to have had projects that people remember fondly, even during tough times." 

Reflecting on his past struggles, Kim Jung-hyun admitted, "I didn’t think I faced any real hardships. When I did, I felt a mix of unfairness and shame, but I realized that holding onto those feelings only prolongs the pain." 

He previously apologized for his controversial actions during the 'Acting Awards' ceremony, stating, "Meeting good people has made me feel healthier." Shin Dong-yup added, "You shouldn’t feel ashamed for stumbling once in a while," to which Kim Jung-hyun responded, "Life is a series of trials and tribulations, but I’ve learned that my strong sense of self can be a source of pain. I’ve been focusing on self-improvement through exercise, quitting drinking, and surrounding myself with positive people, which I’m grateful for."
