G-Dragon's New Show 'Good Day' Set to Premiere on MBC and Disney+
The highly anticipated new variety show '굿데이 (Good Day)', featuring singer G-Dragon and renowned producer Kim Tae-ho, is set to reach global audiences through MBC and Disney+. According to multiple broadcasting sources on January 18, 'Good Day' will be available on the global OTT platform Disney+ alongside its scheduled airing on MBC's Sunday variety lineup.
'Good Day' is a music project where G-Dragon collaborates with various personalities to create the song of the year. This marks G-Dragon's first regular solo appearance on a variety show, generating significant excitement among fans.
Adding to the anticipation, Kim Tae-ho, known for his work on '무한도전 (Infinite Challenge)', will direct the show. G-Dragon and Kim have developed a close friendship over the years, having been mutual fans since the 'Infinite Challenge' days.
The concept for 'Good Day' originated from G-Dragon himself. As he embarks on his first solo activities in eight years, he reminisced about the joy of seeing artists he admired perform together and the fond memories of singing with his friends during the 'Infinite Challenge' music festival. He proposed the idea of creating a platform for that dream to come true.
The show will feature a star-studded lineup of guests, including G-Dragon's close friends from the entertainment industry such as Jung Hyung-don, Jo Se-ho, BIGBANG members Taeyang and Daesung, as well as actors Kim Go-eun, Kim Soo-hyun, Im Si-wan, Jung Hae-in, Hwang Jung-min, and idol groups aespa and SEVENTEEN's unit BSS. Fans are eager to see if the impressive lineup will resonate with audiences worldwide through Disney+.
'Good Day' is scheduled to premiere on February 16 at 9:10 PM KST on MBC.
