G-Dragon's Cryptic Social Media Post Sparks Speculation Amid Political Turmoil

G-Dragon's recent social media activity has caught the attention of fans and observers alike. On the night of December 14, the singer shared a post on his secondary account featuring the phrase "날 사랑해줘요오 날 울리지마요오" along with a photo of himself passionately singing in what appears to be a waiting room. The lyrics he referenced are from Buzz's hit song '겁쟁이' (Coward).

In a humorous twist, G-Dragon mimicked the vocal style of Min Kyung-hoon, known for his falsetto, by holding the microphone to his forehead, which elicited laughter from fans.

Earlier this month, G-Dragon had already drawn attention with his actions that seemed to critique the recent declaration of martial law by President Yoon Suk-yeol. On December 4, poet and singer Ha Sang-wook posted a screenshot of his poem stating, "Just please go away on your own," which many interpreted as a jab at the president's handling of the martial law situation. Following an emergency address on December 3, President Yoon declared martial law, which was lifted just hours later after the National Assembly voted to revoke it.

Ha Sang-wook's post appeared to target the chaos caused by the martial law, and G-Dragon's subsequent 'like' on the post was seen as an indirect expression of his discontent. This led to public protests demanding President Yoon's impeachment, with G-Dragon also sharing a video on December 6 that included the phrase "Love and Peace."

On December 14, during the second impeachment vote, 204 out of 300 present lawmakers voted in favor, resulting in cheers from the crowd, accompanied by songs like Girls' Generation's '다시 만난 세계' (Into the New World) and G-Dragon's '삐딱하게' (Crooked). Amidst this backdrop, G-Dragon's reference to "날 울리지마요" (Don't make me cry) from Buzz's '겁쟁이' has sparked further curiosity about his intentions.

In addition to these developments, G-Dragon recently made his long-awaited return to the music scene after seven years with new solo tracks 'POWER' and 'HOME SWEET HOME.' He is also collaborating with producer Kim Tae-ho on a new variety show titled 'GD와 친구들' (GD and Friends), set to air next year.
