G-DRAGON Unveils Ambitious World Tour Plans for 2025
Renowned artist G-DRAGON (지드래곤) has announced an unprecedented world tour, marking a significant milestone as a solo artist. On March 19, he shared a poster detailing the first phase of the 'G-DRAGON 2025 WORLD TOUR [Übermensch]' on his official fan SNS, igniting excitement among global fans.
According to the released poster, G-DRAGON will kick off the tour in Tokyo, Japan, on May 10 and 11, before traveling to eight cities across seven Asian countries, including Bulacan in the Philippines, Osaka in Japan, Macau in China, Taiwan, Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, Jakarta in Indonesia, and Hong Kong. Notably, this tour will see him perform at Tokyo Dome and Osaka's Kyocera Dome for the first time in over eight years since his '2017 WORLD TOUR ACT III: M.O.T.T.E', drawing immense attention from fans worldwide. Additional tour dates and locations are expected to be announced soon, further heightening anticipation.

This world tour is organized by the global AI entertainment tech company Galaxy Corporation in collaboration with AEG Presents, a prominent company known for managing global tours for artists like The Rolling Stones, Elton John, Taylor Swift, Celine Dion, and Justin Bieber, underscoring G-DRAGON's global influence.
AEG Presents described G-DRAGON as a cultural icon who has redefined the Asian music scene with his innovative music, bold fashion, and charismatic stage presence. They noted that his new album 'Übermensch' has received overwhelming acclaim from both fans and critics, marking a new chapter in his career.
The tour will officially commence on March 29 and 30 at the Goyang Sports Complex in Ilsanseo-gu, Goyang City, where tickets sold out immediately upon release, reflecting the explosive interest from fans eagerly awaiting his return.
G-DRAGON's third studio album 'Übermensch', released on February 25, continues to generate a strong response. The title track 'TOO BAD (feat. Anderson .Paak)' has maintained the number one spot on major Korean music charts like Melon, Genie, and Bugs for three consecutive weeks since its release, consistently breaking records.
Additionally, according to big data analysis by the Korean Corporate Reputation Research Institute, G-DRAGON ranked first in individual brand reputation among boy group members as of March 2025.
