G-Dragon to Release New Song, Fans Anticipate Full BIGBANG Comeback

G-Dragon of the group BIGBANG is set to release a new song. On November 21, he shared a post on Instagram featuring a photo of a golden keyboard, with the caption "RELEASE → 2024.11.22 2PM KST." This announcement has sparked excitement among fans, who are speculating whether it will be a full group track from BIGBANG. G-Dragon had previously celebrated the group's 18th anniversary on August 19 by posting the same image.

On the same day, G-Dragon departed for Osaka, Japan, to attend the 2024 MAMA Awards, accompanied by fellow members Taeyang and Daesung. He is expected to unveil his new single at the awards ceremony, which will take place at the Kyocera Dome on November 23. Reports suggest that the track will feature contributions from Taeyang and Daesung.

Last month, G-Dragon released a digital single titled "Power," marking his first new music since the mini-album Kwon Ji Yong (권지용) was released in June 2017, a gap of 7 years and 4 months (88 months). Following a drug-related investigation last year that resulted in no charges, he emphasized that his strength lies in music, even taking a jab at the media. The single quickly climbed the charts on domestic music platform Melon and topped the iTunes song charts in 15 countries.
