G-Dragon Meets aespa in Upcoming Episode of Good Day

The revamped show Good Day (굿데이) is set to feature a special meeting between K-pop icon G-Dragon (지드래곤) and the fourth-generation idol group aespa (에스파). Scheduled to air on March 30 at 9:10 PM, the sixth episode will kick off with a gathering of all participants for the Good Day assembly. Ahead of this, viewers will get a glimpse of the interaction between G-Dragon and aespa members Karina (카리나), Giselle (지젤), Winter (윈터), and Ningning (닝닝).

A preview clip released prior to the broadcast showcases the meeting, capturing the attention of fans. Former Weekly Idol (주간 아이돌) MCs Jung Hyung-don (정형돈) and Defconn (데프콘) will bring their unique chemistry to the show, providing plenty of laughs.

G-Dragon expressed his admiration for aespa, stating, "I wanted aespa to join Good Day because their songs have been impressive. I’ve been watching them closely, and they recently won an award at MAMA, didn’t they?" He highlighted aespa's captivating sound and their success at year-end award ceremonies.

Jung Hyung-don humorously mentioned, "I hope they don’t do something like 'Whiplash' (위플래시)," hinting at the choreography that has become a fan favorite. He also shared that his daughters, who are fans of aespa, often mimic their dance moves. The choreography from aespa's 'Whiplash' has created a significant buzz, and G-Dragon was even spotted imitating their moves, which drew attention.

In a playful moment, Jung Hyung-don and Defconn asked G-Dragon for an impromptu dance, with Winter stepping in as the dance instructor. G-Dragon, feeling shy in front of his juniors, humorously remarked, "I really miss my members," adding to the light-hearted atmosphere.

The chemistry between G-Dragon and aespa, facilitated by the former Weekly Idol hosts, is generating excitement among fans. Good Day (굿데이) is a music project where G-Dragon collaborates with various artists to create this year's song, with the sixth episode airing on March 30 at 9:10 PM.
