G-Dragon Hints at BIGBANG's Comeback During Solo Concert

On March 29 and 30, G-Dragon held his solo concert '2025 World Tour [Webermanche] in Korea' at the Goyang Sports Complex in Gyeonggi Province, attracting over 60,000 fans over the two days. During the concert, he announced, "BIGBANG will celebrate its 20th anniversary next year," and expressed plans for a "sexy coming-of-age celebration" as they reach this milestone.
This concert marked G-Dragon's first solo performance in nearly eight years, following his second world tour 'Act III: M.O.T.T.E,' which concluded in October 2017. After making a comeback with the new song 'Power' last year, G-Dragon's return to the stage has generated significant excitement.
Opening the concert with 'Power' and 'Home Sweet Home,' G-Dragon shared his feelings about performing again after such a long hiatus. He greeted the audience, saying, "It’s been a while. How have you all been? G-Dragon is back. It’s been 88 months since my comeback and 8 years since my last concert." He humorously added, "Are you ready to sing with me today? If you don’t cheer for me, I might get upset and leave!"
After performing alongside CL from 2NE1 on 'R.O.D' and 'The Leaders,' G-Dragon mentioned his fellow BIGBANG members. During the 'Home Sweet Home' stage, fans erupted in cheers as Taeyang and Daesung appeared on the VCR.
G-Dragon playfully asked the audience if they were enjoying the show, joking, "I’m not Daesung, so it’s not that fun for me!" He reflected on the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and how plans with BIGBANG had to be adjusted over the past few years. He expressed pride in shining brightly on stage, saying, "Today, I feel like I can show off to the members."
Following a parade of hits including 'Crooked,' 'Heartbreaker,' and 'Too Bad,' G-Dragon emphasized, "This is just the beginning. Next year, my brothers will be celebrating their 20th anniversary. We’re not that old yet!" He continued, "When we turn 20, we need to have a coming-of-age ceremony. Although we might feel like we’re halfway to 50, the three of us will be 20 next year, and I plan to make a sexy comeback. I know a sexy coming-of-age ceremony sounds a bit strange, but I’m working on it!"
After his concerts in Korea, G-Dragon will kick off his world tour in May, starting in Tokyo, Japan, followed by stops in Bulacan, Philippines, Osaka, Japan, Macau, China, Taiwan, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Jakarta, Indonesia, and Hong Kong.
