G-Dragon Gifts Trash Bags to Local Residents Ahead of Concert

In a heartwarming gesture, G-Dragon has followed in the footsteps of IU by gifting trash bags to residents living near the concert venue. On March 28, social media and online communities buzzed with posts titled 'G-Dragon Gifts Trash Bags to Local Residents,' highlighting his thoughtful act ahead of his world tour concert.
Residents near the Goyang Sports Complex received these trash bags as a token of appreciation from G-Dragon, acknowledging their cooperation amidst the noise and disruptions that come with hosting large events.
This act of kindness drew comparisons to IU, who also distributed trash bags to nearby residents before her encore concert at the Seoul World Cup Stadium last September. Reports indicate that IU's team provided trash bags to every household in a large apartment complex in Seongsan-dong, Mapo-gu, with a note that read, 'The 2024 IU concert will be held at the Seoul World Cup Stadium. We appreciate your understanding.' This was done to address concerns about noise and congestion during the concert.
Similarly, G-Dragon's gift bags included a message stating, 'The G-Dragon 2025 World Tour 'Weberman' in Korea will take place at the Goyang Sports Complex. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.'
Residents expressed their appreciation, commenting on the thoughtfulness of the gesture, with remarks like, 'What great taste!' and 'I thought only IU did this, but G-Dragon is just as considerate.'
G-Dragon is set to hold his concerts on March 29 and 30, marking his first solo concert in eight years since 2017, generating significant excitement among fans.
