G-Dragon Exits 'Good Day' Amid Project Pressure

G-Dragon of BIGBANG has announced his departure from the MBC variety show 'Good Day' due to the pressures of an ongoing project. During the episode aired on March 9, G-Dragon was seen seeking advice from fellow BIGBANG members Taeyang and Daesung. In a previous interview, he expressed his concerns, stating, "This is the most important song. It's the time to create something, but I'm still struggling with it."

He reflected on the group song for 'Good Day,' noting that while he initially envisioned grand and powerful tracks, meeting with various contributors revealed many songs he was unfamiliar with, leading him to reconsider his approach.

G-Dragon admitted, "I might have been too rigid in my thinking, and it's an honor to receive ideas from my friends. This collaboration is meaningful, and I ended up erasing my previous work list."

He acknowledged the need to start fresh, saying, "I need to begin working on this now. I initiated this project, but if I opened it up, I also need to fulfill my role." He expressed a desire to step back, saying, "I forgot to think about myself. It's a good pressure, but it makes me feel even more burdened when people say, 'You said you'd handle it.'"

After receiving insights from Taeyang and Daesung, G-Dragon felt reassured, stating, "You guys were the answer." He expressed trust in his members, noting that they understand his thoughts, especially regarding musical perspectives.

Finally, G-Dragon revealed a shortlist of potential songs, including Jeong Hoon-hee's 'In the Flower Garden,' Jo Yong-pil's 'Song of the Wind,' and Kim Yeon-ja's 'In the Land of the Morning.' He also mentioned his own ideas, such as 'Telepathy' by DosiAIdol and 'Dreaming of Balhae' by Seo Taiji and Boys.

He concluded, "All of these songs fit perfectly for the project, but I can't decide on my own. I wish someone would make the decision for me." Fans are eagerly anticipating which song G-Dragon will ultimately choose for the group track.
