G-Dragon Donates 300 Million Won for Wildfire Relief Efforts

Renowned singer G-Dragon is making a significant contribution to wildfire recovery efforts in South Korea. He has pledged to donate 300 million won from the proceeds of his upcoming concert, 'Webermanche,' which will take place on March 29 and 30 at the Goyang Sports Complex.
The donation aims to support the restoration of areas affected by the devastating wildfires in regions such as Gyeongsang-do and Ulsan. G-Dragon emphasized that the concert is a collaborative effort with his fans, highlighting the spirit of giving back together. The funds raised will be utilized for recovery initiatives and assistance for those displaced by the fires.
In a statement through his agency, Galaxy Corporation, G-Dragon expressed his heartfelt wishes for healing for those who have lost their homes due to the unexpected disaster. He also extended his gratitude to the firefighters and rescue workers who are tirelessly working on the front lines to aid in recovery efforts.
G-Dragon has a history of philanthropy, having established the Just Peace Foundation, a public charity founded on August 8, 2024, which focuses on mental health and promoting peace in the world. Continuing this spirit of support, the Just Peace Foundation will collaborate with Hong Beom-seok, a former firefighter and runner-up of Netflix's 'Physical: 100' Season 2, to assess and provide necessary aid to firefighters and rescue personnel engaged in wildfire suppression efforts.
