G-DRAGON Announces Unprecedented World Tour Plans for 2025

K-pop sensation G-DRAGON (지드래곤) has unveiled the first phase of his highly anticipated world tour, marking a historic milestone for solo artists. On March 19, he shared a poster on his official fan SNS announcing the 'G-DRAGON 2025 WORLD TOUR [Ubermensch]'.

The tour kicks off in Tokyo, Japan on May 10 and 11, before moving to eight cities across seven Asian countries, including Bulacan in the Philippines, Osaka in Japan, Macau in China, Taiwan, Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, Jakarta in Indonesia, and Hong Kong.

Fans are particularly excited about the confirmed performances at Tokyo Dome and Osaka's Kyocera Dome, which will be G-DRAGON's first concerts in Japan in over eight years since his '2017 WORLD TOUR ACT III: M.O.T.T.E'. The announcement has generated immense interest, especially with additional tour dates and locations expected to be revealed soon.

The promotional poster features G-DRAGON in a dreamlike atmosphere, partially veiled in white, with an intense gaze that captivates viewers. The word 'Ubermensch' is boldly inscribed on one cheek, drawing attention.

This world tour is organized by Galaxy Corporation, a global AI entertainment tech company, in collaboration with AEG Presents, a renowned company that manages global tours for major artists like The Rolling Stones, Elton John, Taylor Swift, Celine Dion, and Justin Bieber, further highlighting G-DRAGON's global influence.

AEG Presents described G-DRAGON as a cultural icon who has redefined the Asian music scene with his innovative music, bold fashion, and charismatic stage presence. His latest album, 'Ubermensch', has received overwhelming acclaim from both fans and critics, marking a new chapter in his career.

The tour will officially launch on March 29 and 30 at the Goyang Sports Complex in Ilsanseo-gu, Goyang City, where tickets sold out almost instantly, showcasing the excitement of fans eagerly awaiting his return.

G-DRAGON's third studio album, 'Ubermensch', released on February 25, continues to receive a warm reception. The title track 'TOO BAD (feat. Anderson .Paak)' has maintained the number one spot on major Korean music charts like Melon, Genie, and Bugs for three consecutive weeks since its release.

Additionally, according to the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute's big data analysis, G-DRAGON ranked first in brand reputation among individual boy group members as of March 2025, and he has consistently topped music shows such as Mnet's 'M Countdown', MBC's 'Show! Music Core', and SBS's 'Inkigayo', solidifying his legendary status.
