G-Dragon and Kim Tae-ho Collaborate on New Variety Show

The upcoming variety show featuring G-Dragon and producer Kim Tae-ho is gradually revealing its details. Kim Tae-ho, known for his work on MBC's Infinite Challenge (무한도전), is reportedly collaborating with G-Dragon, the leader of the iconic group BIGBANG, on this new project. The show, which is generating buzz on social media through fan sightings, is tentatively titled 'GD and Friends' (GD와 친구들) or 'Good Day' (굿데이) and will feature a reality format with G-Dragon and various guests.

One of the highlights of the show is the return of Jung Hyung-don, who previously showcased great chemistry with G-Dragon on Infinite Challenge. Fans are eagerly anticipating their reunion, as it has been a while since they last collaborated. According to insiders, the production team was inspired by fan requests for the duo to work together again, leading G-Dragon to actively reach out to Jung Hyung-don for participation.

Their recent interactions have also been shared on social media, including a post where Jung Hyung-don donned G-Dragon's signature scarf style, which sparked excitement among fans.

Additionally, comedian Jo Se-ho, known to be a close friend of G-Dragon, has confirmed his participation in the show. A representative from Jo Se-ho's agency, A2Z Entertainment, stated that he has received an offer to join the new variety program and is currently considering it positively.

Other notable appearances are expected from actor Jung Hae-in, who is also born in 1988 and recently met G-Dragon during the filming of tvN's You Quiz on the Block (유 퀴즈 온 더 블럭), as well as BIGBANG members Taeyang (태양) and Daesung (대성), and actor Hwang Jung-min (황정민). This has further piqued interest in the show's content.

In a recent phone interview, Kim Tae-ho mentioned that the project is still in its early stages, making it difficult to share specific details at this time. However, he assured that more information would be provided officially soon.

The show 'GD and Friends' is currently under discussion for a potential airing on MBC in 2025. An MBC entertainment official confirmed that they are positively reviewing the scheduling of the new variety show featuring Kim Tae-ho and G-Dragon.
