The 'G-ARTIANS 2024 Connecting Week,' themed around the fusion of science and art, is set to take place from December 1 to 3 at the Daejeon Convention Center (DCC) and WIPSQUARE.

This event is co-hosted by the G-ARTIANS 2024 Organizing Committee, the KAIST Graduate School of Culture Technology, and the Daejeon Tourism Organization. G-ARTIANS is a gathering of opinion leaders who aspire to spread positive influence through the sharing of talent and knowledge. It serves as a global community for cultural artists and scientists, hosting an annual Connecting Week and monthly Connecting Days.

The event will focus on the theme 'Revolution of Global Tech Art: The Fusion of Science and Art,' attracting participants from various fields, including scientists, cultural artists, and tech art experts from both domestic and international backgrounds.

On the first day, December 1, a networking pre-session will be held, featuring presentations centered on the intersection of science and art. The main event on December 2 will kick off with a violin performance by Professor Chai Hong of Wright State University, followed by a keynote speech from Emeritus Professor Won Kwang-yeon of KAIST. Key figures representing the science and cultural arts sectors, including G-ARTIANS 2024 Organizing Committee Chair Kim Myung-seok, will engage in discussions about future visions. In the afternoon, there will be a keynote address by Noh So-young, director of Art Center Nabi, along with the 'Master's 10 Talk,' where eight global leaders will each present for ten minutes, and the 'NextGen 10 Talk' competition, showcasing innovative ideas from the next generation of leaders.

Kim Myung-seok, the organizing committee chair and emeritus professor at KAIST, expressed, 'This event aims to open a new chapter where science and art converge. I hope it becomes a platform for scientists, artists, and industry experts to collaborate and discuss new integrations of science and art.'
