Funeral Arrangements for Late Actress Kim Sae-ron Announced

The funeral arrangements for the late actress Kim Sae-ron have been set at Seoul Asan Hospital. Her memorial service is being held in Room 7 of the hospital's funeral hall, with the funeral scheduled for February 19 at 6:20 AM. The burial site has yet to be determined. Kim's parents and her younger sisters, actresses Kim Ah-ron (23) and Kim Ye-ron (20), are listed as the bereaved family members.

On February 16, at approximately 4:54 PM, Kim Sae-ron was found deceased in her home in Seongdong District, Seoul. According to the police, a friend who had an appointment to meet her discovered her and reported the incident. Authorities stated that there were no signs of forced entry or foul play, and the investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death is ongoing.

Kim Sae-ron made her debut as a cover model for the magazine 'Anfang' in 2001. She began her acting career in 2009 with the film 'The Traveler,' which earned her a spot as the youngest Korean actress to walk the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival. She gained widespread recognition for her role in the 2010 film 'The Man from Nowhere.'

In May 2022, Kim was involved in a serious incident while driving under the influence, crashing into guardrails, trees, and a transformer in the Gangnam area of Seoul. Following this incident, she halted all her activities, and her scenes in the Netflix series 'Hunting Dogs' were significantly edited. Last year, she attempted a comeback through the play 'Dongchimi,' but faced backlash and ultimately stepped down from the production.
