Former President Yoon Suk-yeol Takes First Walk After Returning Home
On April 13, three days after returning to his residence in Seocho-gu, former President Yoon Suk-yeol was seen taking a walk in the underground shopping area of AcroVista, accompanied by his security team. This marked his first public activity since moving back to his home. According to reports, Yoon began his stroll around 2:10 PM, walking for approximately 30 minutes. He was spotted again around 5 PM in the same location. Yoon was accompanied by about five members of his security detail, including Deputy Chief Kim Sung-hoon. A nearby shop employee, 22-year-old Kim, noted that Yoon enjoyed walking in the area even during the early days of his presidency, often wearing slippers and pacing back and forth in the 60-meter-long corridor. An AcroVista resident, 85-year-old Choi Chang-rak, also mentioned that Yoon frequently walked in the underground shopping area, recalling seeing him in formal attire during lunchtime while he was still the Prosecutor General. Yoon had previously left the presidential residence in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, on April 11, returning to his Seocho residence. Over the past weekend, a rally criticizing his impeachment took place near the Gyo-dae Station, with approximately 2,000 participants, according to unofficial police estimates.
