Former Laboum Member Yulhee Completes Marathon in 5th Place

Yulhee, a former member of the girl group Laboum, successfully completed the full marathon, finishing in 5th place with a time of 5 hours, 27 minutes, and 10 seconds, on the MBN variety show 'Running to Live' (뛰어야 산다), which concluded on June 21, 2025. The episode showcased the final challenge of the full marathon after the 12 contestants had already completed a half marathon, creating a palpable sense of tension among them.

Reflecting on the daunting distance, Yulhee expressed her doubts, saying, "It's such a distant number; can I really run it?" However, she also shared her determination, stating, "I have a promise to myself that I want to keep."

As the sun blazed overhead, Yulhee maintained her pace on the asphalt marathon course, running lightly yet steadily. Unfortunately, some participants, including Bae Yoonjeong and Ahn Sanghoon, had to drop out in tears. Yulhee, however, kept her focus and ran the final lap alongside Han Sangbo, who had already secured 2nd place and encouraged her quietly, saying, "You're doing great."

After crossing the finish line, Yulhee expressed relief and a newfound understanding of happiness, stating, "I feel like I've graduated from the hardships of life. I think I've learned how to feel happiness now."
