Former FIFTY FIFTY Members Aran, Shio, and Sena to Debut in New Group Ablume with Producer Ahn Sung-il

The former members of FIFTY FIFTY, Aran (아란), Shio (시오), and Sena (새나), are set to make their re-debut in a new group called Ablume (어블룸) in collaboration with producer Ahn Sung-il (안성일). On February 26, their agency, Massive VNC (매시브이엔씨), announced that during discussions about Ablume's future activities, the members requested Ahn Sung-il to take on the production role, which he accepted.

Aran, Shio, and Sena debuted in November 2022 but filed for a suspension of their exclusive contract with their previous agency, Attract (어트랙트), just six months later. While they paused their activities, member Kina (키나) withdrew her appeal just before the court's decision and returned to her original agency, while the other three continued their legal battle.

The court ultimately dismissed their request for a suspension of the contract, stating that Attract did not violate its obligations regarding financial statements and health management. Although Attract awaited the return of the members, they eventually terminated the contracts with Aran, Shio, and Sena and filed a lawsuit against Ahn Sung-il for damages related to music production.

Kina has since reformed the group into a five-member lineup with new members and continues to promote, while Aran, Shio, and Sena signed with Massive VNC in August of last year and are preparing for a debut in the first half of this year.

The name Ablume is a neologism derived from the German word 'blume,' meaning flower, symbolizing growth and the process of blooming. It reflects the journey of the three members as they discover their unique colors and combine them to create diverse music, much like a small seed growing into a beautiful flower.

As the trio prepares for their debut with Ahn Sung-il once again, fans are eager to see what direction they will take next.
