In the latest episode of MBC's '오은영 리포트-결혼 지옥' (Oh Eun-young Report: Marriage Hell), a family grappling with generational trauma was featured. The episode aired on January 27, 2025, and highlighted a grandmother, father, and son who are entangled in a cycle of emotional pain. During a family trip, the father and son opened up about their experiences. The son revealed he suffered from bullying in his childhood, while the father responded indifferently, admitting he too faced bullying but seemed to downplay its significance.

The family also confronted serious allegations of abuse. The grandmother claimed, "My grandson has been abused by his stepmother. She kicked him out for money and even hit him with a spoon. He told me I was crazy and that I was acting like a mother-in-law. He only believed it when he saw the second child’s foot being injured. Before that, it was done discreetly, like using a needle on his ear flesh."

In response, the father stated, "There are exaggerations in what my mother says. She often makes speculative comments. We had cameras set up, but nothing was ever captured. The daughter doesn’t remember anything, yet the eldest son keeps saying he was abused. All three of their accounts should align, but they don’t."
