Family of Late Wheesung Requests Privacy During Mourning Period

As the memorial for the late Wheesung (휘성) is set up, his family has shared a heartfelt message. On March 13, Wheesung's agency, Tajo Entertainment (타조엔터테인먼트), released an official statement regarding media coverage of the memorial. They announced that the memorial will open to visitors on March 14 at 11 AM, and arrangements for photo and video journalists have been coordinated with the press. The agency emphasized that the family and associates have kindly requested that media refrain from covering the memorial outside the funeral home to allow for a peaceful farewell. Wheesung was found in a state of cardiac arrest on March 10 in an apartment located in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, at the age of 43. According to the National Forensic Service (국립과학수사연구원), the initial autopsy results indicated an 'unknown cause of death.' The memorial will be held at Samsung Medical Center (삼성서울병원) starting March 14, with the funeral scheduled for March 16 at Gwangneung Memorial Park (광릉추모공원). In a message through the agency, Wheesung's brother expressed gratitude to those who knew him and encouraged anyone who found joy in his music to visit the memorial and support him on his final journey.
