Family of Late Kim Sae-ron to Hold Press Conference Amid Controversy

The family of the late actress Kim Sae-ron is stepping forward to address recent allegations. On March 27 at 1:30 PM, attorney Bu Ji-seok from the law firm Bu-yu will hold a press conference in Seocho-gu, Seoul. The legal representative stated that they will present evidence regarding claims that Kim Sae-ron was in a relationship with actor Kim Soo-hyun during her minor years, and they will outline their legal response to the spread of false information targeting the family.

The YouTube channel Garoseoro Research Institute (가로세로연구소) has claimed since March 10 that Kim Sae-ron was involved with Kim Soo-hyun while she was still a minor and that she experienced psychological distress after receiving a demand for repayment of 700 million KRW from his agency, Gold Medalist. The family is demanding apologies from both Gold Medalist and Kim Soo-hyun, as well as from YouTuber Lee Jin-ho, through the channel.

In response, Kim Soo-hyun's side acknowledged that they did have a relationship but denied that it occurred while Kim Sae-ron was a minor, providing detailed explanations regarding the demand letter. However, Garoseoro continues to release private photos, videos, and letters involving the two.

Kim Soo-hyun's agency has filed a complaint against Garoseoro, Kim Sae-ron's family, and an individual claiming to be Kim Sae-ron's aunt, citing violations of laws related to sexual violence crimes and the use of cameras for non-consensual filming.
