EXO's Suho and Chanyeol Share Emotional Moments at SM Town Live 2025
On January 12, 2025, at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, EXO's leader Suho expressed his heartfelt emotions during the 'SM Town Live 2025 [The Culture, The Future] in Seoul' concert, stating, "I am happy because I am with SM and EXO," as he fought back tears. Chanyeol added, "This is the first time the two of us are showcasing an EXO stage together, and we have some discussions with the members."
The concert celebrated the 30th anniversary of SM Entertainment, highlighting the music legacy that has laid the foundation for the global K-pop phenomenon. The event featured not only SM artists but also 25 trainees and artists from SM's sub-labels, generating significant anticipation.
EXO, who made waves with their hit song 'Growl,' also took the stage. Since their debut at the 2012 MAMA, EXO has released numerous hits like 'Call Me Baby,' 'Ko Ko Bop,' and 'Tempo,' solidifying their status as top K-pop idols both domestically and internationally.
Although the full group could not perform due to military service and agency changes, Suho and Chanyeol delivered a powerful performance. Notably, the setlist included 'First Snow,' a track from their 2013 winter special album 'Miracles in December,' which recently experienced a resurgence in popularity, becoming a new winter anthem. As the intro played, fans erupted in cheers.
After performing 'First Snow,' the duo engaged with the audience. Suho reflected, "I felt that this is indeed SM, and I am happy to be with EXO. I hope our fans feel the same joy as they love our artists." He concluded with EXO's signature phrase, "Let's love."
Chanyeol remarked, "This is the first time we are showing this together," to which Suho responded, "Chanyeol actively suggested we do this. We plan to make the Gocheok Dome resonate. Please look forward to it."
Fans are also eager for EXO's new music. Chanyeol mentioned, "Kai will be coming out soon, and Sehun has some time left, but he will be releasing something as well. We have discussions about it, so please anticipate it."
