EXO's Kai Joins Web Variety Show 'Transferee'

EXO's Kai, who recently completed his military service, is set to join the web variety show '전과자' (Transferee). The YouTube channel 'ootb STUDIO' released a video titled 'Graduation and New Transferee [Graduation Ceremony]' on February 17, 2025.

'전과자' has been a popular web entertainment program produced by OOTB since its first season launched in November 2022, now reaching its fifth season. The show features BTOB's Lee Changsub reviewing various university departments across the country, embodying the concept of a 'transferee' who explores different college campuses.

In the latest video, Lee Changsub celebrated the final filming of season five while wearing a graduation gown and cap. He expressed his joy, stating, "I finally graduated," and shared, "I transferred 66 times and had a great time studying over the past two years."

He also mentioned taking a break from the show to focus on his health, assuring fans that it’s not a permanent goodbye. He encouraged viewers to support the new 'transferee' in season six.

Kai made a surprise appearance in the video, announcing his role as the new 'transferee.' During a phone call with Lee Changsub, he shared, "I just got discharged today," indicating that he filmed the content shortly after his release from military service on February 11.

Lee Changsub humorously warned Kai about making promises, to which Kai replied, "I think I fell for it. They suddenly asked if I was planning to go to the military again."

The sixth season of '전과자' featuring Kai is set to premiere on March 20, 2025, on the 'ootb STUDIO' YouTube channel.
