EXO's Baekhyun Achieves Major Success with New Mini Album and Upcoming World Tour
Baekhyun, a member of the popular group EXO and a solo artist, has demonstrated his global influence across various platforms. His agency, INB100, announced that Baekhyun's fifth mini album, 'Essence of Leverage,' released on May 19, has made significant strides by entering four categories on the Billboard charts.
According to the latest Billboard chart released on June 3 (local time), Baekhyun has achieved remarkable rankings: he secured the top spot on the 'Emerging Artists' chart, fourth place on the 'Top Album Sales' chart, and 35th on the 'Billboard Artist' chart, while also landing at 121st on the main 'Billboard 200' chart.
Upon its release, 'Essence of Leverage' topped the iTunes Top Album charts in 24 regions, and the title track 'Elevator' reached number one on the Top Song charts in 14 regions. The album also broke records by surpassing 1 million copies in initial sales within just three days, further solidifying Baekhyun's global impact with this Billboard success.
In addition to his chart achievements, Baekhyun is set to embark on his first solo world tour, 'Leverage,' after 13 years since his debut. Tickets for the concert in São Paulo, Brazil, sold out quickly, prompting the addition of an extra show to the tour schedule. With many performance dates yet to be announced, the scale of the tour is expected to grow.
Baekhyun will kick off the 'Leverage' tour on July 7 and 8 at the KSPO Dome in Olympic Park, Seoul. He plans to meet fans in a total of 29 cities across South America, North America, Europe, Oceania, and Asia, including Seoul.
