EXID's Hani Opens Up About Postponed Wedding with Yang Jae-woong

EXID's Hani recently shared her thoughts following the postponement of her wedding to Yang Jae-woong. On the July 7 episode of Channel A's 'Oh Eun-young's Stay', Hani appeared as a guest, arriving at the filming location in a simple tracksuit and without any staff. In a pre-interview with the production team, she expressed, "I started my career as an entertainer too early, and after my contract ended, I realized I didn't know much about the world. I felt like a frog in a well."
During the 'Auto Talk' segment, she revealed, "I tend to be very sensitive to others' feelings, but I want to stop that. It's exhausting to be in an environment where I have to be aware of others. Recently, I've experienced various situations that made me realize that my life doesn't always go the way I want it to."
Hani continued, "I feel like I can't choose what happens to me. This has led me to naturally let go of the desire to control my life. I wonder, 'Is it okay to live like this?'" Her candid remarks caught the audience's attention.
In a preview for the next episode, Hani mentioned, "For the first time, I've felt a lot of sadness. It's overwhelming, and I want to run away," and shared that she has received comments questioning why she would choose a difficult path.
Hani had previously halted her activities after a tragic incident at the hospital run by her fiancé, Yang Jae-woong, which resulted in a patient's death. This incident led to the indefinite postponement of their wedding plans, and she also withdrew from a scheduled program.
