Excitement Builds for the 1st D Awards with New Lineup and Presenters

The anticipation for the inaugural 'D Awards (디 어워즈)' is heating up as the third lineup of performers and the first group of presenters have been announced. Joining the event are the groups RIIZE (라이즈), YOUNG POSSE (영파씨), NCT WISH (엔시티 위시), and KickFlip (킥플립). The first lineup of presenters includes Cha Seung-won (차승원), Ahn Eun-jin (안은진), Bae In-hyuk (배인혁), Kim Ji-eun (김지은), and educational creator MimiMinoo (미미미누).

RIIZE, known as a 'K-pop top tier' group, is set to make their mark at the D Awards. Following their digital single 'Love 119', they released their first mini-album 'RIIZING', which sparked the 'RIIZE syndrome'. The album showcased their limitless musical universe, achieving hits with all tracks. In just two years since their debut, RIIZE has become a symbol of 'K-pop's present and future', recently releasing a remake of TVXQ's (동방신기) 'Hug'.

YOUNG POSSE, dubbed the 'national hip-hop daughter', will also take the stage. They have established their identity with tracks like 'XXL' and 'ATE THAT', and their first North American tour, 'THE HUNGRY TOUR', last year ignited excitement across 12 cities.

NCT WISH, recognized as the 'rookie of the year', has made a name for themselves with their refreshing charm and energetic performances, becoming a representative of the fifth generation of idols. Their September release 'Steady' surpassed 800,000 pre-orders, setting a record for debut artists in 2024.

KickFlip, the 'JYP super rookie' who opened the K-pop scene in 2025, will debut on the awards stage. Their first mini-album, released on the 20th, quickly topped daily album charts like Hanteo and Circle, showcasing their impressive start as a super rookie.

Alongside the performer lineup, the first group of presenters has been revealed. Cha Seung-won, a K-content icon known for his charisma in films and dramas and his approachable image in variety shows, will present at the D Awards, where his signature suit fit is highly anticipated. Ahn Eun-jin, a ratings guarantee in TV and OTT dramas, will also bring her unique aura to the event, marking her first appearance at a K-pop awards show.

Bae In-hyuk and Kim Ji-eun, stars of the popular drama 'Check-in Hanyang', will also grace the D Awards stage, with their chemistry driving soaring ratings and gaining global attention through Netflix.

MimiMinoo, an educational creator and K-pop enthusiast, has been invited as a presenter, showcasing her passion for K-pop through numerous covers.

Prior to the announcement of RIIZE, YOUNG POSSE, NCT WISH, and KickFlip, the D Awards had already confirmed appearances from N.Flying (엔플라잉), P1Harmony (피원하모니), ENHYPEN (엔하이픈), FIFTY FIFTY (피프티피프티), tripleS (트리플에스), ZEROBASEONE (제로베이스원), 82MAJOR (82메이저), QWER (큐더블유이알), TWS (투어스), and UNIS (유니스). The main hosts for the D Awards will be Go Min-si (고민시) and Lee Jong-won (이종원).

The 1st D Awards (D Awards with upick) will take place on February 22, 2025, at 6 PM at Korea University’s Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul.
