Excitement Builds for New Season of Single's Inferno Featuring Kim Go-eun and Kim Min-ji

The upcoming season of Netflix's dating reality show, Single's Inferno (솔로지옥), is generating significant buzz, particularly with the rumored participation of model Kim Go-eun, known for her connection to singer G-Dragon, and athlete Kim Min-ji, often referred to as the 'Karina of Athletics'. On June 19, multiple outlets reported that both Kim Go-eun and Kim Min-ji are set to appear in the fifth season of Single's Inferno. However, Netflix has been cautious in confirming the cast details.

The speculation surrounding their involvement has captured the attention of fans, especially given the strong following of the Single's Inferno series and the popularity of both Kim Go-eun and Kim Min-ji. Kim Min-ji, a prominent athlete, has gained recognition as the 'Goddess of Athletics'. Notably, she previously revealed on the YouTube channel 'No Backing Down' that she had declined an invitation to join Single's Inferno, stating, "I don't think I'm at the level to go there."

She also shared her ideal type, expressing a preference for "kind, funny, and cute guys," admitting that she struggles to approach handsome men, which contributed to her decision to turn down the show.

Kim Go-eun, a model and influencer, gained fame last year due to dating rumors with G-Dragon. Speculation arose among fans that they had been dating since the summer of 2023, especially after they were spotted together at a PSG match in Osaka, Japan. G-Dragon's representatives later clarified that the two are not in a romantic relationship but rather share a close friendship, leading to Kim Go-eun being labeled as the 'rumored girlfriend of G-Dragon'.

Kim Go-eun is a graduate of Inha Technical College's Aviation Operations program and was crowned Miss Korea in 2022.
