Excitement Builds for 'Harbin' with Behind-the-Scenes Video

This winter's highly anticipated film 'Harbin' has released a captivating behind-the-scenes video titled 'One Goal, Three Countries,' showcasing the dedication of the cast, director, and crew. Directed by Woo Min-ho and produced by CJ ENM and Hive Media Corp, 'Harbin' is set in 1909 and follows a thrilling chase filled with tension and suspicion among those heading to Harbin for a singular purpose and those pursuing them.

The newly unveiled video highlights the challenging journey experienced by the cast and crew across Mongolia, Latvia, and South Korea. It features stunning visuals of the vast and majestic landscapes that will grace the big screen, along with the exceptional production quality provided by South Korea's top talent. Hyun Bin, who plays General Ahn Jung-geun, remarked, "Seeing it on the big screen in theaters will be overwhelming." Park Hoon, portraying Mori Tatsuo, emphasized the film's commitment to realism, stating, "While people say the CGI is impressive, 'Harbin' is all live-action."

The film's settings include Mongolia for the backdrop of Manchuria, Latvia for Vladivostok, and various locations across South Korea for the battle scenes. The cast and crew braved frigid temperatures as low as -40 degrees Celsius, pouring their hearts into capturing a truly authentic experience on screen. Jeon Yeo-bin, who plays a member of the independence army, expressed that considering the struggles of the independence fighters, their own hardships were insignificant, reflecting the unique passion and mindset of Team Harbin. This brief behind-the-scenes footage makes a compelling case for why 'Harbin' is a must-see in theaters this year.

'Harbin' marks another collaboration between director Woo Min-ho and Hive Media Corp, who have worked together on all of his films since 'The Insider.' The expertise of the production team, known for their work on films like 'The Drug King' and 'The Outlaws,' adds to the anticipation surrounding 'Harbin.' The film is set to hit theaters on December 24, 2024.
