The couple tied the knot in July 2017 and welcomed their first son in March 2023. They are now preparing for the arrival of their second child, who will be born two years after their first. Eric debuted as a member of Shinhwa in 1998 and has since released numerous hit songs, including 'The Solver,' 'U?X! U?X!,' and 'Perfect Man.' "I often feel sad when I'm alone, even when I take care of myself and take medication," he shared. 

Recalling a painful memory from the fourth grade, he revealed that he accidentally read his mother's diary, which indicated that she initially wanted to erase him but ended up giving birth after a failed abortion. He recounted hearing her say, "If it weren't for you, I wouldn't be living like this," which deeply affected him. 

The son described his home as a place filled with frequent arguments, mentioning that his father left due to infidelity. Despite being a good student, he struggled with his college entrance exam and disclosed that his mother berated him for not performing well. He shocked everyone by sharing that his mother told him, "I can't face our relatives because of you. Just go outside and get hit by a car."

On January 7, a press conference for the Coupang Play series 'Newtopia' was held at the Conrad Hotel in Yeouido, Seoul, where actress Jisoo posed for photos. 'Newtopia' tells the story of a soldier, Jae-yoon (played by Park Jung-min), and his girlfriend, Young-joo (played by Jisoo), as they race towards each other through a zombie-infested Seoul. The series is set to premiere on February 7. During the event, Jisoo explained her reasons for joining the project, stating, "I felt that a new kind of zombie story was being created, and the character was very appealing to me." Directed by Yoon Sung-hyun, known for films like 'The Witness' and 'Time to Hunt', 'Newtopia' promises a fresh take on the zombie genre. In December 2023, Jisoo renewed her contract with YG Entertainment for full group activities with BLACKPINK and established her own label, 'Blissoo', signaling her commitment to pursuing acting. Transforming into the bold character Young-joo, she remarked, "Having watched many zombie films, I found the script of 'Newtopia' to be vibrant with various events beyond just the zombie crisis. The character of Young-joo was captivating, and working with director Yoon Sung-hyun and senior actor Park Jung-min made me eager to participate without hesitation." The Coupang Play series 'Newtopia' will debut on February 7 at 8 PM.

After three years, the excitement surrounding Squid Game 2's nomination was palpable. 

Director Hwang Dong-hyuk (황동혁) and lead actor Lee Jung-jae made a striking appearance on the red carpet, showcasing their stylish black suits and exuding confidence in front of numerous media outlets, highlighting the strength of K-culture.
