Epik High's Tukutz Helps Apartment Security Guard During Assault

In a surprising revelation, it has been disclosed that Tukutz, a member of the popular hip-hop group Epik High, assisted an apartment security guard who was brutally assaulted by a delivery driver earlier this year. This incident occurred in January when the guard, identified as Mr. A, attempted to stop a motorcycle from entering the premises of an apartment complex in Gangnam, Seoul. The delivery driver responded violently, pushing the guard with the motorcycle and then physically attacking him. During the assault, Mr. A shouted for help, exclaiming, 'Someone is going to die!' A woman nearby pleaded for someone to call the police. At that moment, a man in a white coat intervened to stop the attack, and it has now been confirmed that this man was Tukutz.
On March 26, a video was posted on Epik High's official YouTube channel showing the members preparing for a trip together. During the video, Tukutz mentioned, 'I made the news,' and shared footage of the incident, stating he was featured as the resident who intervened in the assault.
Tablo, another member of Epik High, expressed surprise that Tukutz had not shared this story earlier, calling it a heroic act. Tukutz, however, downplayed the situation, saying, 'What kind of heroism is this?'
Following the incident, police were called by other residents, but the delivery driver had already fled the scene. Mr. A suffered significant facial injuries and was diagnosed with a recovery period of over three weeks, forcing him to take a break from work. He noted that this was not the first time he had faced aggression from delivery drivers, recalling a similar incident the previous year with the same individual. He speculated that the driver’s actions were fueled by lingering resentment from their past encounter.
