ENHYPEN Takes Legal Action Against Privacy Violations

On December 18, 2024, ENHYPEN's agency, BELIFT LAB, announced through their official fan community on Weverse that they are taking legal measures against serious privacy violations, including stalking and illegal filming of their artists. The agency stated that there have been repeated instances of maliciously fabricated and disseminated false information aimed at defaming the artists.

These actions are criminal offenses, and the spread of such falsehoods has severely damaged the artists' reputations across various online communities and social media platforms. BELIFT LAB confirmed that they have implemented immediate legal actions, including filing complaints against those responsible for these privacy infringements and the dissemination of false information, based on real-time monitoring and valuable reports from fans.

The agency has also completed documentation of malicious posts and comments that support and reproduce the rumors circulating in both domestic and international communities, and they have submitted these findings to law enforcement. They plan to continue gathering evidence of any additional malicious posts and comments for further legal action.

Furthermore, BELIFT LAB is regularly pursuing legal responses against individuals who create defamatory, insulting, or sexually harassing content about ENHYPEN. This includes collecting evidence from numerous domestic and international platforms and social media sites such as Ilgan Best, Theqoo, DC Inside, Nate Pann, Instiz, FM Korea, Naver, and Daum.

The agency emphasized their commitment to protecting the artists from illegal acts such as stalking, privacy invasion, and personal information leaks, stating that they are taking immediate legal action, including police reports. They made it clear that there will be no settlements or leniency in the legal processes related to violations of the artists' rights. BELIFT LAB is enhancing their real-time monitoring and evidence collection efforts and will cooperate fully with law enforcement to hold offenders accountable.

In related news, ENHYPEN member Jungwon was recently rumored to be dating aespa's Winter after photos surfaced of them together in a bar in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam. Both agencies have denied the dating rumors, with SM Entertainment stating that the individual who spread the photos attempted to contact them for monetary gain but was rejected, leading to the malicious dissemination of the images, for which they will pursue legal action.
