ENHYPEN Shares Thoughts on 'DESIRE Concept Cinema' Premiere

On May 11, a premiere event for ENHYPEN's 'DESIRE Concept Cinema' was held at the Megabox COEX in Gangnam, Seoul. The event featured a discussion with the members of ENHYPEN and director Park Min-soo, who shared insights about the short film that visualizes the concept of their upcoming mini album, 'DESIRE: UNLEASH'.

When asked about their impressions of the concept cinema, member Jungwon expressed gratitude for the detailed guidance provided by the director and the filming team, stating, "I knew that working with the director would involve a lot of documentary-style direction, and during filming, the teachers helped us with detailed teaching, which was very beneficial."

He humorously noted, "I just watched it with the ENGENE fans, and I kept laughing during the lines. It was nice to see the ENGENE fans enjoying certain points and finding it cute, even though it’s not exactly a cute video."

Regarding the connection between the mini album and the film, Heeseung commented, "I personally think the main theme of the video is desire. The director articulated the concept of desire well, and since our upcoming album's title is 'DESIRE', this keyword is significant. I hope the ENGENE fans will take a deeper look at this connection."

He added, "There’s a monster in the story, which I believe represents desire. I hope viewers can see it from that perspective."

ENHYPEN is set to make their comeback with 'DESIRE: UNLEASH' on June 5, marking their return after seven months. The full version of 'DESIRE Concept Cinema' will be released at midnight on May 12.
